Our Materials

18k Gold-Plated Stainless Steel

Our gold jewellery is crafted from stainless steel and finished with a layer of 18k gold plating, giving each piece its warm, golden shine.

Stainless steel is a strong and durable base material that is resistant to rust and tarnishing. However, as the outer gold finish is plated, it should still be treated with care to help preserve its colour and shine for as long as possible.

Silver Stainless Steel

Our silver pieces are crafted from polished stainless steel for a clean, bright finish.

How to Care for Your Jewellery

To keep your Hanora jewellery looking its best:

  • Remove it before showering, swimming or going to the beach.

  • Avoid wearing it while exercising or sleeping.

  • Keep it away from perfume, lotions, fake tan, hairspray and cosmetics.

  • Avoid contact with cleaning products, chlorine and other harsh chemicals.

  • Put your jewellery on after applying beauty products and allow them to dry fully first.

  • Store each piece separately to prevent scratching, rubbing and tangling.

  • Keep jewellery in a cool, dry place when it is not being worn.

Cleaning Your Jewellery

After wearing your jewellery, gently wipe it with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove oils and residue.

Avoid abrasive cloths, harsh cleaning products and jewellery dips, as these may scratch the surface or damage the gold-plated finish.

For pieces featuring glass beads, crystals, enamel or charms, clean them particularly gently and avoid soaking them in water.
